Testimonials
Kiyo is a highly skilled and knowledgeable dog trainer. She has worked with dogs with a variety of behavioral needs from forwardly aggressive to fearful to over the top reactive and more. She makes incredible functional change that suit both dog and owner. As a fellow trainer, I have collaborated numerous times for challenging cases. She is quick to respond, has a network for cases that require more than just training and helps pets and owners live happy lives. We recommend her for any and all Boulder county and surrounding clients. You will be amazed at how she can help you and your dog!
– Miranda Kurtz
This little cowboy was mean to random people and I didn’t know how to effectively communicate with him. Kiyo has taught me how to teach him and it’s been an amazing journey. I cannot recommend the cooperative canine llc enough.
– John Whitworth
Kiyo is a resourceful, thoughtful, and dependable dog trainer. She uses a positive reinforcement method, which has worked great for our dog, who really loves her. We contacted her because our dog’s reactivity and barking surfaced when our daughter came home for a Thanksgiving break. Kiyo quickly made time to visit us. For every session, she made a thorough training plan, helped us train, took time to listen, gave us advice, and so on. When our daughter’s next visit came close, Kiyo even contacted her colleagues all over the US to formulate a thorough plan for us. After just a few weekly visits (and our own training guided by Kiyo), our dog showed a lot of improvement, and after 7 visits over a few months, our dog has adjusted and accepts not only our daughter but also other people and dogs. Her methods worked and were fun for our dog. We are so grateful to have found Kiyo!
