Accomplishments

Shane Goin, the owner and trainer of The Dog Tank, possesses over 20 years of experience in canine training and leadership. He completed his first apprenticeship program at The Academy of Canine Behavior in 2002 and later established his own business, Emerald Hills K-9 Facility.

Between 2004 and 2012, Shane successfully titled several dogs in Confirmation, Weight Pull, and Schutzhund, and served as the regional representative for the APA organization (a National Weight-Pulling Strong-Dog competition) from 2006 to 2012. In 2016, he completed a second apprenticeship at Riverdog Academy to refresh his skills in positive reinforcement-based training methods. He then founded Dog Training by Shane before opening The Dog Tank in November 2020, a business inspired by his American bulldog, Tank.
