Testimonials
Our chihuahua mix, Libby, thrived in her training at The Dog House, LLC. She went from a timid, highly anxious dog to a calm and confident girl! She completed the three week training and Saturday sessions which helped us as much as it did her. The Dogs to Diapers videos were beneficial to refresh all we learned in preparing her for a new baby. She has exceeded expectations and it wouldn’t have been possible without Carrie, Liz, and the wonderful staff! Thanks for all you do!

The Doghouse kept our family together! We were having a difficult time acclimating our 5 year old golden retriever, Theo, to our newest addition to the household. After months of considering rehoming our “first” baby, we contacted Carrie and Liz about our situation. Theo went through the foundation full service program and it was like picking up a different dog at its conclusion. It has now been a few weeks of everyone under the same roof again and Theo is thriving. He has a clear role and purpose in our family and his demeanor is night and day different than before. We can’t thank The Doghouse enough for investing their time and effort into Theo and we would highly recommend anyone in a similar situation to choose this program.

We rescued Lucy after she was abandoned on the side of the road as a puppy. She likely came from a hoarding breeder situation and was not provided with that human interaction as a young pup. She was dumped with 11 other doodles and animal control found that she had barbed wire stuck in the hair on her neck. She was around 6 months old when we rescued her in November of 2023. She was timid when we got her and over time she got worse. I was the only person she liked. She would run from my 2 kids and husband. She would hide in her crate and not come out. Sometimes for more than 24 hours. She would refuse to go outside to go potty even though she was potty trained. We couldn’t put her in the car because she would poop in the car. She was stressed out all the time, even at home.
We finally found Liz and Carrie and the obedience they taught her through foundations training probably saved Lucy’s life. She is a totally different dog now. She is much happier and allows everyone to love on her. She no longer hides in her crate and loves to be in her “place.” She is no longer stressed out all the time and loves sitting shotgun on car rides. We cannot thank Liz, Carrie and team enough!
