The Maine Pack offers several training programs. Private Training sessions are designed for dogs with specific physical or behavioral issues, focusing on teaching owners how to initiate and implement changes.

The Training Day service is suitable for dogs needing guidance with socialization, leash walking, confidence, or managing high energy, serving as an outlet for dogs with pent-up energy.

Boarding provides a structured, home-like environment for dogs who find kennel settings stressful. It emphasizes structure and boundaries, allowing for supervised playtime and socialization with proper manners, ensuring dogs pick up routines quickly.

Board and Train programs are intensive 2, 3, or 4-week options for dogs with more serious issues or for families who lack the time for hands-on training. This program aims to “reset” the dog’s behavior, facilitating a smoother transition home after training.

The Maine Pack offers dog training and rehabilitation services, aiming to help owners learn confidence, provide clear communication, and practice calmness with their dogs. The business was founded from a personal journey, where the owner learned that dogs thrive on structure and clear communication from a strong leader, rather than just love and freedom. This realization led to a commitment to help other humans and dogs improve their relationships through proper training.

Accomplishments

The trainer’s journey began after rescuing their first dog, facing behavioral challenges despite providing a loving home. This led to seeking help from trainers and attending seminars, including those taught by “top trainers on the east coast.”

The trainer attended their first training seminar with Blake Rodriquez of Dream Come True K9 and Tyler Muto of K9Connection. They continue to attend seminars with other trainers, including Jeff Gellman and Nelson Hodges, constantly learning new methods and building their own style and system.
