I have used The Northern Border twice now. First for early puppy training and then again for adolescence training. They were excellent with my dogs training. They gave me and my dog all the tools we needed so that my dog’s training continued well after the boarding. If you’re willing to put in as much work as your dog then the money is well spent. After adopting a new rescue who was showing some reactivity, I called The Northern Border and Adam was happy to meet with me that weekend, spent a lot of time walking me through training exercises I could do to help work on my dog’s reactivity. Fast forward to now 5 months later and I signed my dog up for a 3 week board and train… we walked into the vet the other day and a dog was in the reception area and my dog had no reaction and listened to me while we checked in. It was a huge difference from when he first came to me. Adam was able to take everything my dog and I had been working on and help him become a more confident and responsive dog… We will continue boarding there and even signed up for obedience class.
