Training involves teaching owners to teach their dogs, with results depending on owner practice and behavior severity. Basic obedience can take a couple of weeks, while fear/reactivity can take months. Lessons are typically weekly or bi-weekly.
Virtual lessons are 30 minutes with detailed notes and exercises emailed afterward. The 2-hour Train & Play is a drop-off lesson combining work at the trainer’s house, new environments, and field trips with play/free time.

Pricing Summary
A 1-hour virtual consultation costs $50.00 + tax. A package of three 30-minute virtual lessons is available for $125.00 + tax. Payments are accepted via Cash, Check, PayPal, and Venmo.

The Pawsitive Center for Dogs Inc. is dedicated to guiding you and your dog to be the best you can be, believing in science-based, force-free training. They use treats, toys, praise, and positive physical touch to make training a fun and successful experience, emphasizing teamwork, kindness, understanding, and trust.
They offer private training, virtual training, and a unique 2-hour Train & Play drop-off lesson where the trainer works with your dog at their house, in new environments, and on field trips for real-world training sessions mixed with play/free time. They work with all dogs, regardless of breed, age, or size, and provide support between lessons via email.
Accomplishments
Leah LeFevre is the Owner/Operator and Head Trainer. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and attended Animal Behavior College (ABCDT). She left her corporate job in 2015 to pursue dog training and has spent several years volunteering in local shelters and rescues, fostering for Recycle-a-Bull Bully Breed Rescue.
