When my husband decided to surprise me with a 4 month old puppy from Baja on a Sunday night, I had to jump into action mode as we have an 11 year old dog who has never been interested in playing with other dogs and two cats. I’ve trained puppies but never with these kind of distractions. I posted for help on our local residents FB page and Christine’s response touched my heart. Now going on 3 months and we couldn’t be happier with the compassionate approach helping Hobie learn commands without the typical “corrections” approach. Christine has also been compassionate to me, when Hobie had some behavioral issues she offered to introduce me to another trainer that specializes in that field. That is a mark of a true professional. We continue to train with Christine and Hobie seems to be responding well. We can’t walk past the spot we’ve done several sessions without Hobie wanting to “search” for his Christine!

Little did our puppy realize that those games were helping her learn appropriate behavior without us yelling or using punishment correction. Everyone in our house was relieved and happy to be learning positive techniques that channeled our pup’s energy into appropriate behaviors. Christine’s training respects the dog’s needs, as well as helping the dog learn appropriate boundaries. Recently, we adopted a second dog and Christine was right there helping us with the transition.
