Accomplishments

Luke Hutson, the founder, grew up in the Hill Country of South Texas and developed his dog training skills by training his family’s Labrador for waterfowl retrieving. Before founding The Sport Dog Society, Luke earned a real estate license and worked with investment properties, then transitioned to Information Technology, becoming a lead technical trainer with IBM Watson Group.

He left his corporate career to pursue his passion for working with dogs and people, studying the science-based dog training methods of Dr. Ian Dunbar and the Dunbar Academy.
