Testimonials

After adopting Tyson and having 3 younger kids at home, I quickly realized that I needed help and Lisa came to my rescue! Lisa made herself available on the phone and with quick booking to help me get through the puppy stages. Her experience and natural abilities to connect with dogs and help guide their owners is outstanding, I would highly recommend working with her! Lisa helped me find my confidence using tips and tricks that worked with consistency and time. I truly enjoyed working with and getting to know Lisa, she is truly a wonderful trainer and human being! 5/5 stars and 10/10 recommend!!
– Alison

Lisa is a GEM! During the pandemic adopted a 2.5yr old mutt 3 days after I put my beloved Border Collie down. My husband was away with the military and he begrudgingly supported me adopting her. Per usual she was not really socialized. Spooked by the slightest noises….peed in the house. Needless to say my husband once home was not pleased. That’s when I found Lisa! She not only helped us UNDERSTAND our new rescue pup, BUT she saved my relationship with my husband! Cuz honestly, I’d never give her up! I’ve referred her to many of my fellow dog owners struggling like we did! She came to our home. She helped me walk her on a leash correctly. Tested us out at noisy parks filled with kids! I can call her anytime I’m panicking and she’s there! You won’t regret hiring her!

We just began working with Lisa a short time ago and she has been an absolute miracle worker with our 2 dogs! Feeding time is now a breeze, walking them is no longer a dreaded chore, and the dogs are so much happier and more engaged.

We still have a long way to go with them (our 10 year old beagle/coonhound is especially stubborn) but the progress she’s been able to make in just 3-4 sessions has been incredible.

She not only works with the dogs, but more importantly she makes sure my wife and I understand what we need to do to help the dogs succeed. We’ve worked with other trainers in the past, with limited results. Lisa is by far the best we’ve seen. We’d highly recommend!

Lisa encourages owners to observe a class before registering and is available for phone consultations to determine the right fit.

Her training is strictly positive reinforcement only, with no corrections or aversive tools used. She works with dogs of all ages—from puppies to seniors—and has successfully helped families with fearful, reactive, and multi-dog households. Clients frequently praise her for her accessibility, responsiveness, and ability to transform difficult situations into positive outcomes.
