Have been on vacation with my brother Phil Cross and my sister-in-law Terri Decker Cross visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. It was beautiful and the weather perfect. I was blessed to find a fabulous kennel Top City Dogs in Topeka KS. My dogs Dakota & Shiloh are my heart and soul. It was hard to leave them but I had done extensive research (multiple reviews over the course of over a year as well as a visit to the kennel & a visit with the owner Kali) so I had faith that they were in the best possible hands. This was confirmed when I dropped them off. We were greeted by Kali and her staff. As we were talking, I noticed Dakota was shaking. Kali asked if she could take her. She took Dakota’s leash and took her for a walk, quietly and gently talking to her. When they returned, Dakota was relaxed. When she took Shiloh’s leash, Shiloh started to jump on her but decided not to. Kali looked at her and said ” Good self correct!” and continued to praise her. Kali then told me they would take the girls for a walk away from me so they wouldn’t be watching me leave. While I was gone I got daily texts on how the girls were doing. Thank you Kali, Khelsea, & the entire staff for taking such great care of my girls!
