Top Dog changed our lives! We enrolled our puppy Donut in the Puppy Headstart program, and we could not be more blown away. They truly transformed him. As brand-new dog parents, we had no idea where to start, and Mike not only trained Donut every day, but also coached us on how to reinforce training at-home. The daily training videos they sent were incredibly helpful and made it easy to repeat everything on our own.

Donut is now more confident, relaxed, and well-mannered – we’re honestly so impressed and so proud of how far he’s come. And the best part? He LOVES going to school. He happily trots through the door every day, which tells us everything we need to know about how well he’s cared for.

The whole staff has been nothing short of amazing: so patient, kind, and truly invested in every dog. Donut was especially loved by Mike, Michelle, and Raina, and we’re so grateful for each of them. Natalie, the owner, is also an absolute pleasure to work with and runs a fantastic program.

Yes, this program is an investment, but it is worth every penny! We could not recommend Top Dog SF more. If you’re on the fence, do it. Your dog (and you!) will be better for it.

Top Dog trained our 4-month old puppy and he is such a good dog because of it! Mike, Michelle and Raina were awesome trainers. The investment of 5-day training was well worth it for our family. My partner and I both work and we 2 children who need a lot of attention. This way, we were able to enjoy our dog instead of cleaning up messes and getting things that he may have chewed repaired. We can take our dog anywhere and have people over without putting him outside or in a crate. He is a true family dog. We are so grateful for Top Dog.

We honestly do not know how we would have shaped Millie without Top Dog. We needed a safe and reliable place to socialize and train our puppy while keeping up with busy work schedules. After calling and touring various programs in the city, we left Top Dog feeling confident that Millie would be happy, safe, and learning. We enrolled her in Puppy Head Start, and it was a decision we never looked back on.

Throughout the program, Mike and team kept us closely updated on Millie’s progress. We received frequent photos and videos that showed what she was practicing and how we could reinforce those skills at home. Mike is patient, kind, passionate, and knowledgeable. He helped us work through several tricky situations, especially around Millie’s fears, and always gave us practical steps that worked. Raina and Michelle were also wonderful with Millie. They were warm and encouraging.

Millie is thrilled to go to Top Dog every time. She walks in with a happy, wagging tail, which tells us everything about how she is treated there. Top Dog has given us a well-supported start as new dog parents, and Millie absolutely loves it!
