Top Notch Canine offers several training programs tailored to different needs and dog ages. Puppy Programs are available for dogs aged 12 weeks to 5 months, offered as 2, 4, or 6-week board and train options. These programs focus on basic luring for commands like sit, down, come, and place, along with crate manners and potty training. Longer puppy programs include verbal commands and public outings, and a slip leash is provided.
Adult Programs are board and train options for dogs 5 months and older, customized to individual dog needs. They utilize a variety of tools including food, clicker, prong, and modern low-level e-collar training techniques. These programs cover sit, down, place, come, loose leash walking, stay, crate manners, and potty training, with public outings included. They cater to dogs with no, minor, or major behavior issues, and also address service dog training and behavior modification. Owners must provide the e-collar (Mini Educator ET-300), and a Herm Sprenger pinch collar is included.
Day Trains allow owners to drop off their dogs for training during the day and pick them up in the evening. These programs teach proper behaviors for well-mannered and attentive dogs. Owners receive a weekly lesson and videos to track their dog’s progress. Day Trains are available in 3, 4, or 6-week durations and include a prong collar.
Private Lessons can be conducted either in-home or at the facility. Owners are required to provide training tools, with the Mini Educator ET-300 being optional. The Basic Package consists of 4 weekly lessons covering sit, down, place, loose leash walking, and come, and includes a long line, clicker, and pinch collar. The Advanced Package, also 4 weekly lessons, requires completion of the Basic Package and focuses on trick training, focused heel, stay command, and e-collar training. The Pro Package combines the training from both Basic and Advanced packages over 8 weekly lessons.
