About the Trainer
Heather Christopherson, CCDT, is a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer who offers in-home training sessions for you and your dog companion. She provides training for puppies, as well as basic-to-advanced skills training and behavior modification for adolescent to adult dogs.
Her specialty is helping integrate new puppies or rescue dogs into families and lifestyles. Heather is also a trainer for Pets for Vets, where she matches rescue dogs with veterans. She aims to show how training creates mutual trust and respect between owners and their dogs.
Accomplishments
Heather Christopherson is a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer with a CCDT certification. She is also a trainer for Pets for Vets, where she assists in matching rescue dogs with veterans. Her own rescue dog, Jade, from Minneapolis Animal Care and Control (MACC), served as the inspiration for her venture into dog training.
