Testimonials

We took our terrified pit bull mix to Lucy to work out some fear patterns she had developed and he was amazing with her. His tools were very effective. She (almost) immediately trusted him and knew he was in control and her leader- which is saying a lot! The tools he taught us are useful and still what we use to this day. Thanks William for helping us in what felt like a helpless and hopeless situation for our poor girl!

William and Troubles had a profound impact on my relationship with my dog, Murphy. When we first started with Troubles Behind me, Murphy was probably a mere 60-80 lbs, and exploring the exuberance of his puppyhood. My husband and I hadn’t had dogs since we were kids. Let’s just say mistakes were made on both sides and our initial call to William was definitely out of desperation. Because we knew Murphy was still growing and we were losing control. William’s approach was sound, sane, and had immediate effects. I saw my belligerent and sometimes bratty boy immediately respect William, love William, and fall into line. Turns out, we just needed to learn how to talk to Murphy, how to communicate, and to understand his experience. William immediately gave us the tools we needed to do this. Murphy started listening very quickly, probably because we were actually communicating with him. Now he’s 135 pounds of VIP in our house and the best buddy I could ever have. That’s what William did. His techniques are very positive and effective. And I feel like I wouldn’t have understood my dog at all if we had never gone Troubles Behind Me. So 100% we will always recommend William.

Our gentleman of a German Shepherd Fritz passed away at 12 and our new Shepard Ravon was sweet but was not quite filling his shoes. Normally we would ignore his jumping and obnoxious need for attention and wait it out like we did with our four prior shepards but we have small grandchildren now who were afraid of him. We brought him to William who not only helped us in significant practical ways but assured us over and over that Ray was indeed a very lovable dog. He is also very knowledgeable regarding different collars and devices etc … and his dog / horse stories are enthralling. I highly recommend William to help with any and all dog adjustment needs.
