Group Walks: Offered Monday through Friday in San Francisco, dogs are picked up from home and transported in an SUV to parks and beaches such as Presidio trails, Baker Beach, Crissy Field/Beach, Thornton Beach, and Ft Funston. Walks are at least an hour long, with dogs typically out of the house for 1.5-3 hours, including play, exercise, and training. Group walk requests are currently closed.
Dog Boarding: Available for dogs who regularly participate in group walks. It includes daily adventures and home comforts, with dogs joining group walks. Boarding is also offered to dogs not in the regular group walks, requiring a paid 24-hour trial stay (Thursday morning-Friday morning, Thursday evening-Friday evening, or Friday morning-Saturday morning). All dogs must be on a flea/tick preventative and bring their food, food bowl, leash/harness/collar, and crate/bed if used.

About the Trainer
SwiShing Tails Dog Training is a business run by Heidi, who has over 10 years of experience. She offers dog training, group dog walking, and dog boarding services. Heidi’s training philosophy is based on science-based, force-free, positive reinforcement methods, avoiding coercion, pain, or fear, and tools like prongs, shock collars, or choke chains.
The business aims to help dog owners get desired behaviors from their dogs by motivating them with treats and toys, and removing access to things they want to stop unwanted behaviors. Heidi emphasizes building a strong relationship between the dog and owner through humane training.
She also teaches agility classes at Golden Gate Dog Sports. Heidi is currently enrolled in The Academy for Dog Trainers, known as the “Harvard” of dog training programs, working towards certification.
