Up N Atom Dog Training offers a variety of programs including Daycare Training, Board and Train, Private Lessons, Puppy Training, Advanced Obedience, and Behavior Modification. Daycare Training allows owners to drop off their dogs for daily training sessions, field trips, and socialization, with included equipment, written/video instructions, private lessons, and group classes for graduates.
Board and Train programs provide an immersive 24/7 training experience where dogs live in the trainer’s home, focusing on accelerated results for general obedience or specific behavioral issues, including off-leash reliability. Private lessons are one-on-one sessions conducted at their facility, suitable for addressing minor behavioral problems and for specialized competition training in sports like AKC Obedience, Rally Obedience, French Ring, Mondioring, and IGP.
Puppy programs emphasize impulse control, socialization, crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. Behavior modification programs are designed for dogs with reactivity, aggression, fear, anxiety, and resource guarding, with longer durations for more severe cases. All programs include client education and long-term support to ensure the training is maintained at home.

Policies
Up N Atom Dog Training does not offer a money-back guarantee on training programs, as results depend on owner commitment and consistency. They guarantee positive results if clients follow their advice and do their homework, and provide individual support to ensure satisfaction. They do not guarantee a “cure” for behavioral problems but help manage them through obedience, management strategies, and behavior modification.
Electronic collars are used for “proofing” known skills, not for teaching, and are not used on puppies under 6 months of age or in programs shorter than 3 weeks. Off-leash training is not offered without the use of an e-collar. Dogs with behavioral concerns require an in-person consultation before a start date. Visits during board and train programs are recommended for most dogs, but may not be beneficial for dogs with high levels of separation anxiety, fearfulness, or other behavioral concerns. Overnight services are unavailable from May 12, 2025, to June 13, 2025.
Testimonials
“When we found Shaina, we were absolutely at our wit’s end. Our 9 month Boxer mix was completely out of control. He was aggressive and trying to even walk him was a nightmare. When she came to get him, after I put his leash on him, he literally burst through our front door and drug me across my front yard. I was beginning to worry he was going to bite someone, not to mention the chaos he caused in our home. So, I called her and she arranged to come assess him. She was very upfront that if she didn’t think she could help him, she would tell me. She came to our house, and within 10 minutes, she had him sitting quietly in his kennel. I couldn’t believe it!! So, we arranged for her to take him for 2 weeks. When she brought him back, he was a totally different dog. He was able to heel and I could walk him without being drug. His reactivity was much better, although he is still a puppy. Watching her interact with our dog, he was never afraid of her or acting like he was miserable. He was still a happy playful dog…only much better behaved. I had plans to send him back for another couple weeks, I was just waiting for it to fit into the budget, but my father was losing his battle with cancer and I had to leave the state with very little notice. I didn’t want to lose the ground we had gained so I called Shaina and asked if she could find a spot for him on short notice. She came to the rescue and found a place for him and finished his final 2 weeks of training. Shaina did such an amazing job with our dog and she brought peace to our house. Anyone who saw our dog before and then after is amazed at the difference in him. I literally can’t say enough good things about her.”

“We adopted a 5 month old malinois that was out of control, even considering his breed. We heard about Up N Atom through some social media contacts and decided to give board and train a try. It was life altering for both our little maligator and our family. Shaina completely transformed Kevin to an obedient, loving family member. Shaina’s flexibility with drop off, pick ups and follow up training is unmatched. She also offers vacation boarding, which we will be taking advantage of very soon. Thanks for everything you do Shaina! Keep sending home those good pups!”
– Matt Shearn
“The best I brought my golden to her he was wild and I was at a lost of what to do. We did the board and train and he is a brand new dog always stays in contact and is very honest. Will be back with other dogs I purchase. Thank you again”
