upDog Pet Services offers various training programs tailored to different needs. All training packages begin with an initial 90-minute assessment, which can be conducted in your home or virtually, to create a personalized plan.

1:1 Coaching provides private, in-home training sessions once a week for 4-6 weeks, focusing on education, enrichment, and training, with homework assigned for clients to complete. Day Training involves the trainer working directly with your dog 2-3 times per week at your home or their facility, with recommended weekly transfer sessions to ensure skill retention. The Board and Train program offers consistent daily training for 2-3 weeks at the trainer’s home, taking pressure off owners, and includes multiple transfer and follow-up sessions; new puppy owners can take their puppies home on weekends. Hourly training sessions are also available.

Beyond traditional training, upDog provides Enrichment Plans designed to incorporate species-specific activities and training into daily routines, improving overall welfare and addressing problematic behaviors through a 14-category checklist. Hikes and Walks are 90-minute outings that include basic obedience and transportation, with a report card provided after each outing. For boarding and daycare, all dogs must have a 4-hour meet and greet trial visit, be at least 4 months old, non-aggressive, and have current vaccinations. Daycare utilizes a LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) playgroup approach with consent tests and forced breaks.

All training packages require an initial 90-minute assessment for $250, which includes a personalized plan. Hourly training sessions start at $125.

For 1:1 Coaching, sessions are once weekly for 4-6 weeks (60-90 minutes). Day Training is 2-3 times per week, with sessions costing $75-$100, and weekly transfer sessions are recommended. Board and Train programs are 2-3 weeks at $160 per day, including multiple transfer and follow-up sessions.

Boarding prices are $65 per night for social dogs, $80 per night for solo dogs, and $25 for an additional dog from the same family. Medical and puppies under 6 months are $100 per night. Dogs picked up after 2:00 pm are charged a full day of daycare, and no check-outs are allowed after 8:00 pm, incurring an additional nightly charge. Daycare is $35 for a full day, $28 for a half day (6 hours), and $25 for an additional dog from the same family. Hikes and Walks start at $25 for 90-minute outings, including basic obedience and transportation. Wedding engagement sessions start at $375 for up to 3 hours with one handler, with additional hours or handlers costing $100 each. Transportation for weddings can be arranged at an additional cost.

Policies

For boarding, check-out time is 2:00 pm. Dogs picked up after 2:00 pm will be charged for a full day of daycare at the regular rate. No check-outs are permitted after 8:00 pm, and an additional nightly charge will incur. Clients are requested to be prompt for pick-ups to allow for cleaning and disinfection between clients.

For all boarding and daycare services, dogs must be at least 4 months of age with proof of current vaccinations, non-aggressive, clean, in good health, and free of fleas. Owners must certify their dogs have not harmed or shown aggressive behavior and disclose any bite histories. All dogs must be spayed or neutered by one year of age, and no dogs in heat may attend. All canine guests must have up-to-date DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations, as well as an annual negative fecal float test. Written documentation is required for vaccination exemptions. Dogs must wear a collar with a name tag and be on a leash upon entry; prong, shock, pinch collars, and retractable leashes are not permitted. Owners acknowledge and assume risks associated with supervised off-leash socialization.
