About the Trainer
U.S. Kennels Incorporated is a 501(c3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing service dogs for disabled Veterans at no cost. Their mission involves rescuing shelter dogs and training them in advanced obedience and medical tasks to support veterans suffering from service-related disabilities like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI).
The program aims to immensely improve the lives of veterans through the healing power and proven benefits provided by their new K-9 partners. They assist veterans in finding a dog that fits their specific disability and personality, then rescue, rehabilitate, and train the dog.
U.S. Kennels Inc. also provides a safe and inviting environment for veterans to network with other service members who can relate to everyday challenges.
