Utah K9 Academy offers two main training programs: One on One Training and Doggie Bootcamp. One on One Training sessions are individualized to fit a dog’s specific needs, addressing issues such as leash pulling, jumping on people, or general obedience. These private sessions are designed to equip owners with the confidence, skills, and techniques to advance their dog’s obedience, with training available for dogs as young as 8 weeks old.

The Doggie Bootcamp is a comprehensive training system that utilizes play, food rewards, structure, socialization, confidence building, different environmental exposures, and clear signals communication. This program is designed to provide long-lasting training results, suitable for owners who are taking a vacation, have a busy schedule, or simply want their dog trained.

Utah K9 Academy is a veteran-owned dog training company led by owner and lead trainer Carlos Kubischta. Carlos served 8 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces Military Working Dog Trainer, bringing extensive experience to his passion for helping dog owners. The academy aims to give dog owners the confidence, education, and techniques needed to live a fun and enjoyable life with their four-legged family members.

Accomplishments

The owner and lead trainer, Carlos Kubischta, served 8 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces Military Working Dog Trainer. During his military service, dog training was his full-time job and became his passion. He has committed his life to helping dog owners improve relationships with their canine companions.

Utah K9 Academy is a veteran-owned company. Carlos Kubischta also trained alongside the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for the National Odor Recognition Test in 2016.
