Valhalla Hunt Club & Kennels offers professional gun dog training through their “Gun Dog School of Excellence” and structured “Training Levels.” They provide access to live birds during the off-season for starting new pups or keeping dogs conditioned and seasoned for hunting. Training can be done privately or as part of the kennel’s programs.

Pricing Summary

Membership at Valhalla-Bijou Hunt Club costs $800.00 per year, offering members discounted rates on hunting packages and training birds. Non-members can also book hunts on a limited basis at higher rates. Hunt packages vary in price based on duration (2-hour or 4-hour) and the number/type of birds included, ranging from $120.00 to $330.00 per hunter. Training birds are available for members, with prices posted in the clubhouse. A “Dog and Handler” 1/2 day hunt package is available for $150.00 for both members and non-members.

Policies

Cancellations for scheduled hunts must be made within 24 hours to receive a complete refund. Weather-related cancellations are 100% refundable. If a scheduled hunt is transferred to another member or immediate family, Valhalla must be notified. Failure to show up or notify Valhalla of a cancellation for a scheduled hunt will result in being charged for the package released.

Valhalla Hunt Club & Kennels, also known as Valhalla-Bijou Hunt Club, is a family-owned and operated business established in 1989, located 30 minutes east of Denver in Bennett, CO. They provide memorable experiences for sportsmen and women, focusing on upland bird hunting and gun dog training.

The club offers around 500 acres of upland bird habitat, divided into four distinct hunting fields, including a wooded creek bottom with a pond and upper fields with CRP type cover and planted milo. They offer 2-hour or 4-hour hunts with options to hunt with your own dog or with a professional guide and dog.

Beyond hunting, Valhalla provides professional gun dog training through their “Gun Dog School of Excellence” and “Training Levels” at Valhalla Kennels. They also offer boarding services at their kennel. Members enjoy year-round amenities, discounted rates on hunting packages and training birds, access to a shooting range and skeet thrower, and use of clubhouse amenities including Alice’s Kitchen, which provides homemade meals and snacks.
