Valor K9 Training was founded in 2016 by SFC (Ret) Ernie Rivera, a wounded Iraq war veteran. After his recovery, Ernie lost more fellow veterans to suicide than to combat, and his own service dog saved his life. This experience led him to dedicate his efforts to helping others.
