Testimonials
“I took our Shepherd pup and our American Eskimo pup through training with VVDOC 12 & 14 years ago. It was very affordable, and we as dog owners learned as much as our pups! The dogs both are still excellent walkers..they don’t drag me when we take walks. They sit and stay too. I was extremely happy with my experience and hope they are still training when we get our next dog!”

“Best dog training available. Affordable too! If you need your dog trained by people who know what they are doing. This NON-PROFIT organization has trainers that perform with their dogs at AKC licensed obedience trials.”

“Excellent dog training club. You learn to train your dog at dog fanciers park from trainers that have actually earned national AKC titles! I have taken many classes from this club over the past ten years with my two dogs.”

About the Trainer
Vegas Valley Obedience Club is a non-profit, AKC-licensed dog obedience club founded in 1964 that offers group obedience training classes to help dog owners build communication, good manners, and strong bonds with their dogs. Classes are taught by volunteer club members who are experienced dog trainers and often compete in AKC obedience, rally, agility, and other sports. Training is conducted at Dog Fancier Park in Las Vegas, using positive motivation techniques such as food and toys, with no harsh methods. The club offers a progressive curriculum including Puppy, Basic Manners, Beginner, and Advanced Beginner classes, with opportunities to advance to AKC competition levels like Novice, Open, and Utility. Members also have access to twice-yearly trials, matches, and educational meetings. The club promotes community, lifelong learning, and active participation through membership.
In addition to training, VVDOC offers AKC Canine Good Citizen preparation, Rally Obedience, and other specialty classes. The club supports dog owners at all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors, and encourages involvement through volunteering, stewarding trials, and attending monthly meetings. Membership is affordable and open to individuals and households.
The club does not offer private, in-home, board-and-train, or day-training services. All training is conducted in group settings at a public facility.
Accomplishments
Founded in 1964, VVDOC has held over 50 AKC-sanctioned shows and helped hundreds of dog owners earn obedience and sports titles. Club members have earned national AKC titles in obedience, rally, agility, field trials, tracking, and nose work.
