Dog Training Methodology
Most of the business’s time is dedicated to training their own dogs for competition. They occasionally sponsor training seminars open to the public and offer coaching workshop days. They also provide referrals to trainers or clubs depending on client goals.
About the Trainer
Vom Schloss Billimack Working Dogs specializes in preserving the working heritage of German Shepherd Dogs and Belgian Malinois through world-class training and proofing via IGP competitions (formerly Schutzhund/IPO). They focus on developing working dogs with the necessary drive and temperament to excel as sport, police K9, and search and rescue dogs, while also being trustworthy family members.
The business believes that utility is the true criterion of beauty in working dogs, emphasizing intelligence and drives over mere conformation. While their primary focus is training their own dogs for competition, they occasionally sponsor public training seminars and offer coaching workshop days.
They can also provide referrals to other trainers or clubs based on specific goals. Additionally, Vom Schloss Billimack Working Dogs engages in the occasional selective breeding of litters.
