Wag the Dog offers a variety of training programs tailored to different needs. Private Basic Manners Training helps adolescent or adult dogs with issues like leash pulling, lack of focus, poor recall, jumping, and attention-seeking, teaching commands like sit-stay and leave-it. Private Puppy Training addresses common puppy behaviors such as mouthing, house-training, crate training, separation anxiety, and chewing, while also teaching basic manners like name recognition and polite greetings.
For behavior problems, they offer specialized programs like the 6-week Reactive Dog Training Package, which is a hybrid of virtual consultations and in-person lessons at McCarren Park, Williamsburg, designed to reduce reactivity towards other dogs or people. Group classes include Virtual Puppy Head-Start for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months, covering socialization, biting, potty training, destructive behaviors, and basic manners. The Basic Manners Class is for dogs 5 months and older, focusing on loose leash walking, impulse control, and polite greetings. A Semi-Private Reactive Dog Class for 2 dogs provides a controlled environment for reactive or aggressive dogs to learn coping skills and alternative behaviors using motivational, reward-based methods.

Testimonials
“I would recommend Inna to anyone and everyone as she takes pride in her work and really takes the time to understand/study the situation. She’s very down to earth and the dogs loves her. Can’t wait until the next appointment. Thanks Wag The Dog!”
– Edwin, Brooklyn
“Wag The Dog saved us! Our dog Houston was a mess when it came to other dogs. He was extremely reactive around other dogs and neighbors in our building, but after attending the reactive dog class (and of course continuing the training everyday), he has been a million times better. Inna’s class was so helpful and motivating. Now we can walk him down the street confident that he won’t lunge after his neighbors!”
– Heath, Long Island City
“Wag The Dog services Great for Cats Too: My rescue cat, Pye, was a terror. I could not play with him, pet him or even sit by him without fear of an “attack.” When I walked passed him he attacked my feet, and Pye liked attacking my other cats. Needless to say, things were not working out with Pye, and I kept him in a cage most of the time, letting him play outside of the cage when I or the other cats were not in the room. I was feeling really awful about the situation. I was afraid of him and he was stuck in a cage most of the day. I needed help, quickly. I was so overjoyed to find Wag the Dog and Inna. Inna changed the way in which Pye and I relate to one another. Inna explained cat behaviors, and Pye’s behavior specifically. She trained Pye and I on how to have structured play time together, and she taught us different communication tricks to do together. After many weeks of following her instruction, Pye and I trust each other, and he doesn’t attack my feet anymore! Pye has really mellowed out. He is still a work in progress, but our relationship is so workable and better because of Inna’s great work. Wag The Dog services cats as well as dogs! Thank you Inna!”
– Lensie G. ~ Brooklyn
