Waggin’ Train offers private, customized training services conducted in the comfort of your home. Training programs are designed to teach basic cues and life skills, as well as address various behavioral issues.
Available programs include a one-hour consultation for assessment, Puppy Training (six sessions for dogs up to one year old covering housebreaking, crate training, biting, and socialization), and Basic Dog Training (six sessions for adult dogs focusing on daily life skills and behavior issues). Refresher Training (three sessions) is available for dogs needing a review of previous training or basic skills. The Puppy Preparedness package is a 90-minute session, usually done before a puppy’s arrival, to help new owners prepare for crate training, housebreaking, puppy-proofing, and managing puppy behaviors like nipping and chewing.

Pricing Summary
An one-hour consultation costs $90. Puppy Training (for dogs up to one year of age) is $600 for six sessions. Basic Dog Training (for adult dogs) is also $600 for six sessions. Refresher Training is $350 for three sessions. Puppy Preparedness is a 90-minute package for $120. A 10% discount is offered on any training package when trading in a prong, shock, or choke collar.

About the Trainer
Waggin’ Train LLC Dog Training is led by Audrey Arturo, a CPDT-KA certified trainer. She is a graduate of Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training Curriculum and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild. Audrey uses only patient, humane, science-based, and ethical training techniques centered on 100% positive reinforcement, ensuring a happy, healthy, long-term relationship with your dog.
Her training philosophy is based on respect and cooperation, not fear or intimidation. She never uses shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, or slip leads, and actively promotes force-free equipment like no-pull harnesses through “Project tRade,” which offers a 10% discount for trading in old punitive collars. Training is customized to each dog and family, focusing on teaching desired behaviors in a fun way.
Audrey’s goal is to help dogs live long, happy lives with their adopted families by creating mutual respect and harmonious living. She volunteers at New Life Animal Rescue and is an approved trainer for New Life Animal Rescue, Lu’s Labs Labrador Retriever Rescue, and Wags Rescue.
Accomplishments
Audrey Arturo is Knowledge Assessed and certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers® (CCPDT). She is a graduate of Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training Curriculum and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild. Audrey is also a graduate of Duquesne University. Waggin’ Train is the approved and preferred trainer for New Life Animal Rescue, Lu’s Labs Labrador Retriever Rescue, and Wags Rescue.
How to Get Started!
To get started, clients can call or fill out a contact form. The process begins with a brief telephone interview to gather information about the client, their dog, and their environment. If needed, an in-home consultation will follow for observation and assessment. Goals will be discussed, and a customized training program will be developed.
