Testimonials
Maria was a wonderful instructor. She is very patient & knowledgeable. My puppy, Harley & I started classes when he was about 13 1/2 weeks. I was a little nervous since he was a little wild & did not listen very well. Maria taught me how to teach Harley to do so many things. The last day of class, I have to say Harley did a complete 360 in 6 weeks. Maria always made sure we knew what to do. Sometimes it was listening to her tell me what & how to train Harley through visuals. Mostly she sat with him & showed us both how to use positive reward training. Harley now sits, shakes his paws, lays down & pretty much has the stay & come command done pat. He also knows when you say mat he will go to the towel on the floor and sit. It may not seem like a lot to you, but believe me it was more than I ever expected. I just wanted him not to be so wild & listen but we are both so well trained!!
I would highly recommend Maria to those that are serious for puppy training.
We had an amazing experience with Maria! She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about training our puppy, Chance. From basic commands to behavioral tips, she provided clear guidance and practical advice that made a huge difference. Chance responded so well to her positive reinforcement techniques, and we feel much more confident as pet owners now. We’re so grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and caring dog trainer. Thank you, Maria, for setting us up for success!
We worked with Maria recently to help us learn better ways to train our 5 year old Aussie before the arrival of our firstborn. We highly recommend using her for training services!
Prior to working with Maria, Ellie had received basic training as a puppy but struggled with being territorial at home and listening when people came over. She also showed some reactiveness when walking and approaching other dogs.
Since our training has concluded, we see a totally new side of Ellie! She listens much better, accepts guests over at our house, and more calm throughout the house. We’ve been able to train her off of her prong collar and back onto a harness and walk her with ease.
As we prepare for our baby’s arrival in August, Maria provided numerous resources for us to begin desensitizing her to the huge changes that will occur. We have no doubts that she will love our baby and accept him into the family pack!
