Testimonials

I highly recommend Gordon Webster as a dog trainer. I worked with him for 8 sessions with my young, high-energy Rhodesian Ridgeback, and the progress we made was incredible. Nala can be strong-willed and tends to get overstimulated, but Gordon was calm, patient, and very clear in how he guided both of us.

He didn’t just train my dog, he taught me how to communicate with her in a way she understands. Our leash walks are smoother, her recall is much more reliable, and she’s overall more relaxed and confident. What I really appreciated is that Gordon explained the why behind each technique, so I wasn’t just copying steps, I actually learned how to continue the training on my own.

We still have more goals ahead, but I now feel equipped instead of overwhelmed. If you want real, lasting improvement and a trainer who truly understands both dogs and people, Gordon is the one to work with.
– Client

We recently adopted an 18 month old Doberman that had been severely neglected. He brought some behavioral issues along with him, including hyper reactivity towards other dogs, and inability to focus or relax in public, or obey basic commands. These traits made it nearly impossible to bring him out for walks where other dogs would be encountered. We quickly turned to Gordon and Webster’s Dog Training for help… Gordon quickly established a training plan with a foundation of basic obedience performance commands that have quickly brought focus and behavioral changes in our boy Loki.

We’ve seen remarkable changes in just a few short weeks! Loki and I actually enjoy the training exercises and drills… He’s also becoming more relaxed around the home as his confidence increases, his insecurities subside, and his understanding of basic commands and behavioral expectations improves.

We’ve still got work to do, but Gordon has us on a progressive plan that we’ve seen quick results from, and is really helping this neglected Doberman become one of the family.
– Client

To put it simply, Gordon is AMAZING! I have enjoyed working with him from the very beginning, starting with our initial phone consultation.

He was such a calm and positive presence for both me and, most importantly, my dog, who lacked confidence and calmness around other dogs and humans.

Gordon showed me just how amazing my dog could be when given the right tools, leadership, and direction.

After each session, he provided me with homework, which I found extremely helpful. The homework included a detailed breakdown of everything we covered in our one-hour session, along with guidance on how to continuously practice it with my dog.
