Testimonials

Rebecca is so knowledgeable! She is always willing to share her experiences, tips and tricks to get a well behaved puppy. She’s a great teacher! Has handouts to review during the week, and reviews the previous week before moving onto the next topic. The class was small, affordable and fun. Definitely recommend this class and her as a teacher!

I adopted a puppy during the pandemic and needed training and socialization during the time of distancing. Rebeccah and her team did a fantastic job of keeping us humans safe as well as teaching us how to teach our dogs to be well behaved with only positive feedback. My dog Charlie and I have now completed 3 courses and earned our Good Citizen badge. The facility was always clean and Charlie couldn’t wait to get out of the car to go inside. I highly recommend What an Obedient Dog!

Before we dropped off our dog for the two week training course, he was a normal puppy that cared more about playing and biting. After picking him up, his improved behavior was immediately noticeable and he had learned commands that he still follows weeks later. Not only was his training successful, Rebecca and her team showed a genuine care for our dog and made us feel that he was in very good hands. Would recommend to puppy owners, especially if you will be travelling during the two week class when compared to the cost of boarding alone.

About the Trainer

What An Obedient Dog! is a dog training business founded by Rebeccah Kleinberg, a certified professional dog trainer with over 20 years of experience in the pet industry. The business specializes in positive, force-free training methods and offers group classes for puppies, adult dogs, and advanced obedience, including AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep, Trick Dog Training, and Indoor Agility. She has trained dogs of all ages and temperaments, including those with fearfulness, leash reactivity, and behavioral issues. Her facility is described as clean and welcoming, and dogs are reported to be excited to attend. She is an AKC CGC Evaluator and a Certified Pet CPR and First Aid Instructor, adding credibility to her holistic approach to dog care.

The business also supports dog owners through blog content, social media, and resources on dog communication and training science, helping owners understand how dogs learn and how to maintain progress at home.
