Wheatland Dog Center offers board and train programs, including a 20-day training program. These programs focus on teaching basic commands such as sit, down, place, loose leash walking, and recall, along with general good manners like not going through doorways before the handler.
During the training, the owner, Kayla, keeps clients updated on their dog’s progress by sending videos and pictures. Upon pickup, Kayla provides a demonstration of the trained behaviors and instructs clients on how to continue working with their dog. They also offer helpful pointers and support after the program completion.

“After nine days with Kayla, he has very good recall. I am still using the E-collar to reinforce, but he has done very well. We are retired and it is our plan to move into a motor home and travel around the country. We were scared to death Major would bolt in some strange place and that would be the end of our dog.
