Training and care are delivered through a structured, integrated model. All new clients must complete an introductory K9 Psychology Session and a meet-and-greet assessment. Dogs must attend daycare a minimum of two days per week to enroll in any service. Training is embedded into all services—daycare, boarding, and private sessions—with individualized plans developed by Nestor Escobar. Progress is monitored through consistent reinforcement, owner education, and daily communication. Boarding occurs at their residential facility with 24/7 supervision by live-in trainer Mike Dmitrovich. Programs are intensive and require owner commitment to behavioral change.

Testimonials

OMG…….Before I had an (ONLY) 30 min session with Cynthia, who was an absolute pleasure to work with, my French Bull dog Jinky no longer pulls me and attacks other dogs AT ALL on our daily walks. She was literally the Miracle Worker for my hard headed frenchie and myself as well. . .
– Agnes A. (Glendale, CA)

My husband and I are forever grateful to Nes and Cynthia for the wonderful care they provide to our 4 felines and 1 doggie.

Wigglewag enables me to balance my business professional life with my need to have my dogs well cared for. I have three dogs with very different activity levels. Wigglewag tailors their program to meet each dog’s needs. They also work with me to ensure that they are reinforcing training that we are doing at home. This consistency has really improved the behavior of my younger dogs.

About the Trainer

Wigglewag Training & Dog Care Services is a family-owned canine training facility founded by Cynthia and Nestor Escobar in Pasadena, CA. Nestor, a Master Trainer and Canine Behaviorist, leads the team with a holistic approach rooted in canine psychology and holistic health, emphasizing structure, balance, and owner education. They offer one-on-one private training, group sessions, dog daycare, boarding, and walking services—all delivered at their residential training facility. Their unique model requires dogs to attend daycare a minimum of two days per week and complete an introductory K9 Psychology session before enrollment, ensuring consistent reinforcement and behavioral progress. They prioritize gentle, compassionate methods and work closely with owners to create lasting behavioral change through education and hands-on support.

Wigglewag does not accept last-minute enrollments and requires all new clients to complete a meet-and-greet assessment to determine suitability for their programs. They only care for unaltered dogs under one year old and require all dogs to be fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on flea control. Their facility is staffed by live-in trainers, and they maintain close communication with clients through updates, photos, and personalized plans. They focus on behavior modification for issues like leash pulling, reactivity, separation anxiety, and resource guarding, and their services are designed for dogs of all ages and sizes who need structured, consistent care.
