Wild Dogs offers personal and intensive training programs where dogs stay in the trainer’s home for a comfortable environment. These programs include weekly field trips to practice new skills in real-life scenarios, such as hiking and exploring around Austin parks and dog-friendly restaurants. The goal is to give dogs more freedom by educating the owner on how to establish proper communication with their dog.
About the Trainer
Wild Dogs is a dog training business that uses simple, balanced training methods to help dogs channel their “wild” instincts while building trust and communication with their owners. Their mission is to help dogs gain more freedom to roam, explore, and adventure, enabling owners to enjoy activities like camping, hiking, or visiting dog-friendly restaurants without stress.

The ultimate goal is to educate owners on how to establish proper communication with their dogs, leading to a healthier and more freedom-generating relationship.
Morgan, the founder, realized her passion for helping poorly mannered dogs become happy, polite canine good citizens after working at a dog boarding facility. She attended Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers and Behavior Specialists and completed an internship, where she discovered the importance of training humans. Reilly, another trainer, started by volunteering at the Austin Humane Society and working at a doggy daycare before becoming an animal control officer. She joined Wild Dogs after Morgan helped her with her own dogs’ behavioral issues, and has since learned advanced obedience techniques and how to work with various temperaments and severe reactivity.
The business emphasizes that training humans is key, as dogs naturally crave structure, guidance, and clear communication. They aim to educate both dogs and their humans for a well-balanced and fulfilled life together.
