Pricing Summary

Dog boarding starts at $60.00 per night. Pet sitting visits start at $85.00 per day. Holiday and travel fees may apply for both services. Early morning (6am), late night (10pm), and weekend fees apply for pet sitting visits.

Wild Pups Pet Care offers comprehensive pet care services, specializing in in-home boarding and pet sitting visits. The business aims to provide peace of mind for pet owners by ensuring their dogs feel comfortable and well-cared for, whether lounging on the couch or playing in the backyard.

In-home boarding provides a calm, crate-free environment with private rooms, playtime in a fenced yard, socializing with family pets, picture updates, and daily enrichment. Spaces are limited to a maximum of four dogs. Pet sitting visits include staff coming to your home three times a day for potty breaks, walks, feeding, mail collection, plant watering, playtime, and cuddles, with visits lasting 25 to 30 minutes.

The business is led by Shannon, a professional dog trainer since 2017, who has extensive experience in the rescue world, animal shelters, doggie daycares, and boarding facilities, including serving as Director of Training Operations. While Shannon is currently taking a break from the training side of the industry, she continues to provide high-quality care for clients’ pets, utilizing her experience to work with various dogs, from young puppies to reactive dogs.

Accomplishments

Shannon began volunteering in animal rescue in 2007, assisting in training rescue dogs as a Jr. Handler. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Human Services in 2017, during which she volunteered at an animal shelter and worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility. Shannon has been training dogs professionally since 2017 and previously served as The Director of Training Operations at a Doggie Daycare and Boarding facility. She is a certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club’s (AKC) Canine Good Citizen Program (CGC) and an AKC Certified Instructor for the S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. Additionally, she is certified through the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR. Shannon is a member of The International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), and The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).
