Dog Training Methodology
Methods:
- ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only
Wild Wags Dog Training offers comprehensive programs in Behavior Modification, Obedience Training, and Group Classes, all utilizing positive, reward-based methods.
Behavior Modification programs include Private In Home Training (5-7 sessions) and an Accelerated Private In Home Training (2 sessions) for owners who need less direct guidance. These programs address issues such as aggression, fear, anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, jumping, nipping, impulse control, and social skills, while also building confidence and teaching basic obedience commands. A Board and Train program (3-5 weeks) is also available, where the trainer conducts daily training sessions in their home, including free roam time, exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment.
Obedience Training features Puppy Basics Private In Home Training (3 sessions) covering crate and potty training, socialization, preventing separation anxiety, and introducing basic commands. Private In Home Training (5 sessions) focuses on a wide range of obedience commands (sit, down, stay, heel, loose leash walking, come, leave it, watch me) and manners (no jumping, polite greetings, place during mealtimes, boundaries). Board and Train options for obedience are offered for 2 or 3 weeks, covering basic to advanced commands, public manners, and confidence building in various environments.
Group Classes are available for dogs over 4 months of age who are friendly and non-reactive. These include Basic Obedience Skills, Advancing Obedience Skills, Confidence Skills, and Heeling classes. All private and board and train programs include in-depth new client evaluations, direct communication with the trainer, and detailed reports after each session. Board and train programs also provide all necessary tools for continued training at home and lifetime support.

Testimonials
“I never thought dog training would be such an experience. The dog training was for my dog Miranda but I have learned a lot about myself in the process. Aubri not only trains dogs but she’s training the humans in the process. Aubri is so knowledgeable and explains everything perfectly. She sends a progress report after each session. This detailed report is so helpful in continuing the work she is doing with the dog and the owner. I have printed all the progress reports and made a notebook. This allows me to reference the reports and to stay on top of what my dog and I learned during these training sessions. Aubri loves what she does and knows all things dogs. I highly recommend her.”
