Wolf Moon Dogs offers a “Three Week Stay & Train Program” where dogs receive individualized attention in the trainer’s home, becoming part of the family and pack. This program builds a foundation in solid obedience commands, manners, impulse control, and a calm mindset, including skills like loose leash heel, sit/down stay, recall, place command, kennel training, and public manners. This program is not for dogs with severe human/dog/food aggression or severe separation anxiety issues. Owners receive a homework ebook and two 2-hour transfer sessions. Dogs go home with an E-collar, prong collar, and long line leash.
They also offer “Owner Virtual Mentor Sessions” for 30 minutes, designed for owners to ask questions and get advice without their dog present. “WMD Client Boarding” provides overnight care for past clients, allowing dogs to brush up on skills in a familiar home setting.

About the Trainer
Wolf Moon Dogs offers relationship-based, holistic dog training that focuses on the dog’s mind, body, and spirit. They provide personalized, in-home training where dogs become part of the trainer’s family and pack, working on a variety of skills and going on daily adventures. The Board and Train program is limited to one or two dogs at a time to ensure individual attention.
The business uses a balanced training approach, combining positive reinforcement with toys, praise, and food, alongside tools and humane techniques to address unwanted behaviors. A significant emphasis is placed on cultivating a calm, healthy state of mind, which is believed to help dogs make better choices and live fulfilling lives.
Wolf Moon Dogs stresses that training is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix, requiring consistent effort and adherence to new rules and expectations from owners. Clients receive homework and guidance to continue the training structure once their dog returns home, encouraging owners to step into a leadership role.
In addition to training, Wolf Moon Dogs offers overnight boarding services exclusively for past clients, providing a safe and comfortable environment where dogs can brush up on their skills. The head trainer, Alana, combines her background as a yoga/meditation instructor with dog psychology, behavior, and obedience to offer a comprehensive approach.
Accomplishments
