Testimonials

We have been bringing our Brittany to WDTC for over a year for obedience and he loves it. He has learned a lot and I can tell he really enjoys the mental stimulation from training. We moved and tried to find a new spot but ended up making the extra drive to keep coming to WDTC. I find the skills taught to ME are very valuable — the 45 min class is teaching the humans how to teach their dogs, and you have to continue the work at home. They do a good job of trying to match up different “energies” of dogs so classes can stay calm and effective. I also think the $ value is unmatched in the area.

I can’t be more thankful for the trainers and community I have found within Wolverine Dog Training. All of the trainers here have help me learn and grow in so many ways with my dogs.

After getting my first dog (a high drive working dog-I didn’t know at that time what that even meant) in the midst of the pandemic, I learned quickly that I needed help. After being at a variety of different places, I am so thankful I found Wolverine. With time and patience, they helped me grow into a confident dog owner. My dog is now thriving in many ways. We didn’t know all of the doors this club would open for us or the potential we had until exposed to it.

In the beginning of taking classes, I was very overwhelmed with not knowing how to help my dog and I felt like quite the failure as we were struggling. I was encouraged to stick with the classes even when it’s hard and with time, we started to fly! I am beyond thankful for what they were/are able to provide for my family as we have a relationship with our dog that wouldn’t have exsisted without.

No matter what you are looking for, I highly recommend Wolverine. They will work with you in anyway you desire but you have to remember, you have to put in the work too. Dog training isn’t a 1 class solves all problems type of thing. It takes lots of consistency but pays off in more ways than imaginable. Thank you to all of the trainers and other class members for contributing to our success.

Wish I had read the reviews before Signing up. We won’t be coming back. Place is a JOKE to say the least. My dog gets over excited and has pulled me down. I told the lady on the phone I use a halti. She said yes they use those. But when I went to class they frowned upon it so I took it off in the result of getting pulled down at once but twice in front of everyone and the trainer just watched me struggle to pick up all the treats I dropped and Control my dog and then told me that she couldn’t have me in the ring with my dog acting that way? Aren’t you a Dog Trainer? Didn’t get any help from anybody. She told me next week if I come back to bring a PRONG collar and she’ll do me how to walk my dog ( who actually does great with the halti) NO THANK YOU! Won’t be returning ever again !
