Yellowstone Dog Sports offers “Basic Training” through private and semi-private lessons for puppies and adult dogs, covering fundamental skills like obedience, focused attention, and beginning agility obstacles. These lessons prepare dogs for group agility or competitive obedience classes. Group lessons are continuous, allowing participants to attend weekly or monthly based on their goals and availability.

The business also hosts multi-day Dog Vacation Camps, which include a wide array of activities such as all levels of Agility, Obedience, Rally, Clicker Training, Dog Tricks, Fast Cat, Nosework/Scent Work, Freestyle Obedience, Tracking, Search and Rescue, North American Sport Dog (NASDA) Events, Nature Walks, Canine Nutrition, Canine Massage Techniques, Dock Diving, Swimming, Canine Good Citizen Certification, and Better Behavior. Camp activities are taught by top instructors and include on-site accommodations and meals.

Pricing Summary

Group lessons are $20 per 1.5-hour session. Dog Vacation Camp fees vary based on accommodation type, ranging from $700 for off-site campers to $1150 for a private room with a private bathroom. Additional fees apply for non-camper family/friends sharing rooms or RVs. A $50 discount is offered for full camp payment prior to March 1, 2024, and a $200 non-refundable deposit is required with registration.

Event center rental rates include $500/day for the arena, $125/day or $300/weekend for agility equipment, and $100/day or $200/weekend for timing equipment. The obedience building is $300/day or $600/weekend, with obedience/rally equipment rental at $100/weekend. Outdoor arenas are $275/day, and the dock diving pond is $100/day. On-site dog-friendly accommodations for event participants range from $15/night for tent camping to $90-$95/night for rooms with private baths.

Policies

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required with registration for dog camps.

To get started with basic training or for more information, clients can email Tammi Archbold at tarch319@gmail.com to schedule a lesson. For dog camp registration, previous campers can register starting November 2nd at 9 AM MDT, and new campers can register starting November 9th at 9 AM MST. Camp registration is done via an online form at https://form.jotform.com/242567023733152; emails are not accepted for camp registration. For event center rentals, clients should contact Lisa at lisa@yellowstonedogsports.com.
