They are also introduced to quail and pigeons in a safe and confident environment before leaving for their new homes. The kennel occasionally offers “started dogs” for sale.

Pricing Summary

The total cost for their puppies is $1200. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choice, with the remaining balance due at pick-up or two weeks prior to shipping. Shipping costs an additional $450, which includes the crate, airfare, and health certificate.

Policies

A $200 deposit to hold a puppy is non-refundable. Puppies come with a one-year health guarantee regarding hereditary health problems. In the event of a hereditary issue, they will replace the puppy, provided the problem is documented by a licensed veterinarian and confirmed as hereditary by their personal vet. If for unfortunate circumstances a puppy needs to be rehomed, Young’s French Brittanys will gladly take the pup back or assist in placing it with an appropriate new family.

Young’s French Brittanys is a small kennel located in Monterey, TN, dedicated to raising quality Epagneul Bretons, also known as French Brittanys, for both field and home environments. They began their journey with this breed in 2012, seeking a small, close-hunting, obedient dog that excels both as a hunting partner and a family companion.

All their breeding dogs are AKC and UKC Registered French Brittanys. These dogs are thoroughly evaluated for health, hunting ability, temperament, and conformation before being bred. They have OFA tested hips and are N/N for the Sable Gene.

The kennel prides itself on having dogs that are proven in the field, possessing wonderful natural hunting ability and a love for retrieving on both land and water. Their dogs live in the house with them and have access to a large fenced backyard. Young’s French Brittanys also occasionally offers “started dogs.”

Accomplishments

Young’s French Brittanys are members of the Club de l’ Epagneul Breton of the United States and the Georgia French Brittany Gun Dog Club. One of their members serves as the Vice President of The Cumberland Mountain Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club. Their breeding dogs are AKC and UKC Registered, have OFA tested hips, and are N/N for the Sable Gene. They have acquired their reproducers from some of the top kennels in the US, and all their dogs are proven in the field with natural pointing ability and a love for retrieving.
