Canine Navigator offers a range of programs tailored to different needs and commitment levels. The “1 Day Jump Start” is for owners who prefer to do much of the initial training themselves, providing a day of training with Tara, an in-depth home lesson, a follow-up, written materials, and training tools. This program focuses on calm leash walking, distraction management, and staying on spot.
For more intensive one-on-one attention without overnight stays, the “Day Camp” program consists of four day-train sessions over two consecutive weeks. It includes two in-depth lessons with the owner, written materials, a follow-up lesson, and training tools, focusing on imprinting behaviors taught in the Jump Start program.
The “Horizon Program” is a 7-day board and train experience where dogs stay in Tara’s home, establishing a structured routine. It includes an in-depth go-home lesson, two follow-up lessons, written materials, training tools, and a bonus field trip, building on Day Camp exercises and introducing basic recall and distraction work.
The “Freedom Program” is a comprehensive 21-day board and train program that builds on previous programs and introduces the e-collar for enhanced communication. This program aims for dogs to walk calmly in public, stay on spot, recall with distractions, and have excellent house manners. It includes a go-home lesson, two follow-up lessons (with field trips), written materials, weekly video updates, training tools, and a year of continued support. Clients who previously enrolled in other programs may have their prior fees deducted.
For the youngest pups, “Let’s Talk Puppies” offers “The Balanced Pup” group classes for puppies aged 10-16 weeks, focusing on socialization and exposure in a safe environment. An in-home consultation option is also available for personalized attention or for puppies not yet fully vaccinated.
