Testimonials
“I can’t begin to thank Tori enough for the changes that Malley and I learned during our training at Puppy Preschool. Tori taught us so much in such a short time, that I look forward to using more training while Malley gets older. She has amazingly easy and effective ways to teach not Malley, but me as well. If anyone is ever interested in hiring a dog trainer, please don’t hesitate to contact Tori. She will help you be a better owner and your pup will be so much more happy and behaved.”

“Tori is an excellent trainer! What I loved about her program is that she taught our dog, Charlie, obedience and taught us how to understand and change his behaviors. Through Charlie’s training I have seen huge improvements. He is calmer, happier, and we are able to take him to public places where we couldn’t before.”
– Client
“We are so incredibly lucky to have found Tori! She is so personable, knowledgeable, and has so much energy! We love that she is always willing to lend a helping hand, and our dogs definitely love her, sometimes more than us ! We are so appreciative of the group classes and training that we have done together with Tori, Justine, and other members of our Pawlished pack, and I must say, our dogs have come a long way since meeting Tori! We would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a trainer – you will not be disappointed!”

About the Trainer
Pawlished Dog Training, LLC is a dog training business founded in 2015 by Tori, a certified professional trainer with extensive credentials and hands-on experience. They offer personalized training using a balanced approach that combines positive reinforcement with appropriate corrections to build clear communication between dogs and owners. Services include private lessons, group classes, puppy pre-school, board-and-train residencies, workshops, and dog boarding. Their facility-based training emphasizes long-term relationship building, with ongoing support through group distraction classes, community events, and continuing education workshops. Tori focuses on changing the owner-dog dynamic to foster mutual respect, freedom, and peace of mind, and she integrates dietary coaching and emotional regulation techniques like “Training Between the Ears.” The business is known for its deep commitment to ethical training, continuous education, and supporting clients beyond initial programs.
Pawlished only accepts dogs that have completed an evaluation and either private or residency training before enrolling in group classes or boarding. Their training philosophy centers on teaching dogs both “YES” and “NO” to ensure reliable behavior in real-world situations. They use a variety of tools including clickers, food, harnesses, martingale collars, prong collars, e-collars, and spray bottles, tailored to each dog’s needs. Tori also co-founded the nonprofit Caped Canines Assistance Academy to support self-training service dog owners.
The business is currently closed for maternity leave from November 2025 to February 2026, with evaluations resuming mid-January 2026.
