Testimonials

Love their barnhunt class, hope to start agility there as well!

This was a disappointing experience. Barn Hunt should be fun, and we’ve had a blast doing it at other places. The people running Action Dog Sports are kill joys who put very little effort into communicating and organizing these events. As several others have said, one simple sign would save new-comers much confusion as to where they are located. Then, there was zero instruction when we arrived, much less a single word of welcome or nicety. When we finally got our first turn, the instructor had a rough, negative demeanor, in fact saying, “You suck” when we said we didn’t bring treats for our dog. Our dog spits out any treats we try, so food doesn’t work as a reward for her. But even if there wasn’t a good reason, that’s no way to speak to people, especially people you’re only just laying eyes on. The hay bales had pee on them. There were too many people. I could go on. We left this place feeling deflated. Go elsewhere.

Terrible signage. Hard to see where it is. Then with one small speed sign you may well miss, you are going to get yelled at. Dog activity business that conducts Fast CAT and Agility Courses for dogs. The Fast CAT course is not level after the rain so expect slower times. Bring your own seating and shade.

About the Trainer

Action Dog Sports is a dog training facility specializing in dog sports such as agility, Barn Hunt, and Fast CAT races. They offer group classes and practice sessions in a dedicated facility with space for multiple dog sports activities. The facility hosts competitions and training for dogs of various skill levels, with a focus on competitive dog sports. Some clients praise the setup and variety of activities available, while others report poor customer service, lack of clear signage, and unprofessional staff behavior.

The facility is located within a nursery area, requiring drivers to slow down, though some reviewers note staff inconsistently enforce this rule. Customers are advised to bring their own seating and shade due to lack of amenities. The facility supports both training and competition in multiple dog sports disciplines.

Staff interactions have been described as unfriendly, with reports of yelling, negative communication, and lack of welcome or instruction. Some clients felt unwelcome due to poor communication, unclear directions, and unclean conditions such as urine on hay bales. Others report positive experiences with the facility’s infrastructure and class offerings.
