Dog Training Methodology

Methods:

  • ✓ Positive Reinforcement Only

Equipment:

  • ✓ Harnesses

Puppy Power Weeks is a free socialization program for puppies from birth to 16 weeks, covering handling, grooming and vet practice, novel object exposure, and dog-to-dog interaction in 45 minute group rotations. Puppy Star Skills follows for pups up to 8 months, building manners and practical foundations like leash walking and disengagement while working toward the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy title.

Private Lessons are fully customized one-on-one sessions covering issues such as jumping, barking, counter-surfing, crate and potty training, recall, reactivity, resource guarding, and separation anxiety. Focus Sessions add extra one-on-one time with a trainer, typically 30 to 45 minutes, to reinforce skills between group classes, with a recommended minimum of four sessions a month.

PEACE Daycare is a structured, enrichment-based daycare built around passive learning, enrichment activities like KONGs and lick mats, and confidence-building exposures rather than free-for-all play, with dogs attending the same day each week and required to be crate trained. The R+R Program is built for reactive dogs that bark, lunge, or struggle to settle in a normal class, using visual blockers, human-only classes, and one-on-one Solo30 sessions to work through triggers using positive, force-free methods.

Ongoing training is organized into three monthly memberships, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Collar, each combining Solo sessions, drop-in group classes, and Focus Sessions in different amounts, and clients also have access to AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog testing.

Pricing & Policies

Pricing Summary

Monthly memberships run $149 for Silver Collar, $249 for Gold Collar, and $389 for Platinum Collar, each including Solo30 sessions, drop-in classes, and a discount on PleasedPup products. Solo (private lesson) memberships run $199 for Solo Silver, $239 for Solo Gold, and $399 for Solo Platinum, built around Solo60 sessions and Focus Sessions. All first-time clients pay a one-time $100 onboarding fee in addition to their monthly package, and PEACE Daycare costs $240 per month for four days, dropping to $220 once a dog reaches Yellow level.

Package prices cover training at the Riverton studio; in-home training is available for an additional travel fee upon request.

Policies

New clients pay a one-time $100 onboarding fee when signing up for a membership, which covers their first month of orientation support. PEACE Daycare billing adjusts for months with more than four scheduled days or for preplanned absences, and dogs must be crate trained and enrolled in a class membership to participate; there is currently a waitlist and not all dogs are accepted. Puppies must have had at least one set of vaccines at least a week before their first Puppy Power Weeks class, and dogs in standard classes must be up to date on vaccines.

R+R Program and Focus Session enrollment both start with a free consultation to confirm fit before scheduling begins.

Testimonials

My favorite thing about working with Becca is that she really listens to your situation and comes up with creative solutions for working through behaviors. She understands that every dog learns differently, and doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. My dog’s skills, my handling skills, and my knowledge of dog behavior have improved so much since working with her!
– Nicole

Working with Becca has been such a gift, and she’s been a constant source of support for us and our dog, Kona. We love that she offers a variety of services, such as training classes, PEACE Daycare, the R+R program for reactive dogs, private training sessions, group walks, and humans-only classes to teach us skills, all of which we’ve taken advantage of.
– Crystal

Becca and her team at Clementine has been nothing but exceptional. We started with our first ever family dog after she was a few months old, and they helped us understand owning a dog, expectations of having a dog, how to build structure and setting our dog up for success.
– Steven

The R+R training program at Clementine was such a gift for our reactive dog. We started with private sessions because our dog wasn’t ready to be in a class with other dogs due to the reactivity. With the help of the R+R program, we worked through triggers and slowly transitioned our dog to regular classes.
– Mckelle

About the Trainer

Clementine Dog Training offers group classes, private lessons, and specialty programs for dogs and their owners in Riverton, Utah. Led by trainer Becca and her team, they work with puppies, family pets, and reactive dogs, building skills through a hybrid model that combines private instruction with flexible group learning at their training studio.

Their training relies on positive reinforcement, force-free, fear-free methods rather than corrections or punishment. New clients start with a free consultation to talk through their goals before choosing a membership level or program that fits their dog.

They specialize in puppy socialization and foundations, reactive dog rehabilitation through their R+R program, and everyday behavior work such as leash walking, recall, jumping, barking, resource guarding, and separation anxiety. Their PEACE Daycare program takes a structured, enrichment-based approach that emphasizes calm behavior over all-day play, and their Focus Sessions give dogs one-on-one time with a trainer to build on what they learn in class.

Clients describe a team that listens closely to each dog’s situation, adapts training to fit the household, and stays in touch with midweek check-ins between sessions. The range of programs, from free puppy classes to a dedicated reactive dog track and AKC testing, lets owners put together a plan that matches their dog’s actual needs instead of a one-size-fits-all class.
