Dog Training Methodology

Methods:

  • Positive Reinforcement Only

Digging Dogs Training Center offers group lessons, private lessons, and drop-off day training. Group classes are six-week sessions focusing on socialization, fun, and education, where owners learn to work as a team with their dogs. Topics include puppy and adult manners, competition obedience, agility, rally, tricks, scentwork, and therapy dog certification.

Private lessons are available at their facility or clients’ homes for puppies and adult dogs. These are suitable for dogs disruptive in group settings, owners with limited time, or new puppy parents needing help with puppy-proofing, housetraining, crate-training, jumping, or mouthing. They do not offer private lessons for extensive behavior modification like separation anxiety or aggression.

Drop-off day training is a weekly three-hour program where certified trainers work with pets on basic obedience and manners skills.
