Behavioral counseling is offered via private sessions focused on anxiety, reactivity, and aggression, using behavior modification techniques. Nosework and agility training are available as skill-based programs with separate schedules.

Policies

Classes fill on a first-paid basis, and new registrations are generally accepted through the second week of class. Severe weather can cancel any class, and outdoor classes are rescheduled in extreme heat, cold, or wet conditions, with make-ups added to the end of the session until it has met six times.

The training center has a coded entry gate, a 3 MPH speed limit, and designated parking for each training area. Handicapped drivers should tell their instructor before arriving so closer parking can be arranged.

How to Get Started!

Group classes are booked by choosing a class on the online enrollment page. Dogs with reactivity, anxiety, aggression, or separation issues start with a two-hour Initial Behavior Counseling session, booked through the appointment link, and owners who cannot control their dog on leash should contact PBH before booking.

The first session evaluates the dog and starts addressing the issues, and clients get written instructions to help with homework afterward. Board and train is offered only to clients who are taking private lessons and will continue them after.
