Dog Training Methodology
Rochester Canine Academy offers private, personalized training for dogs of all ages. The Start Smart Puppy Program is for puppies 12 weeks and under, covers housebreaking, exposure, and early foundations, and needs no evaluation.
Signature Programs are for dogs 16 weeks and older and come in three levels, from everyday manners to off-leash freedom. Dogs 13 weeks and up start with an evaluation to pick the right program.

About the Trainer
Rochester Canine Academy teaches family dogs to be great family members. Owner and trainer Alisson Goldberg has trained dogs professionally since 1996 and founded the academy in 2002, and she finds it rewarding to help families build fun, easy relationships with their dogs.
All training is private and one-on-one, by appointment, at the studio on North Winton Road in Rochester. Programs build structure, calm, and clear communication, so dogs behave well at home, out in public, and around people.
Accomplishments
Alisson Goldberg, the owner and trainer, has trained dogs professionally since 1996. She opened Rochester Canine Academy in 2002.
How to Get Started!
Call or text 585-271-8458 to book a one-hour evaluation at the studio, where Alisson meets the family and dog and agrees on goals and the right program. Puppies 12 weeks and under can start the Start Smart Puppy Program without an evaluation.
